Drabbles are tiny 100 word challenges that are given based on a word or phrase. You can write no more and no less than 100 words. It's a good little thing to work on being concise with descriptions while still getting your point across!
For example: Prompt: Pocket full of Sunshine
Entry: “You're a regular pocketful of sunshine, you know that?”
The Sin'dorei Priest looked at her for a long moment, green eyes observing behind the wire-rimmed glasses before he mustered the biggest obnoxious smile he could and nodded. “I do try my best, love.”
The smaller half-elf nearly exploded, and not that gentle “yelling” explosion. No, this was full fireworks and pixie dust. She would burst and cease to exist. “You smug, no good -”
“Love of your life?” he interjected. Her silver-blue eyes widened incredulously and she threw her hands in the air in defeat.
“I hate you.”
See. The entry does not go beyond the 100 words and yet conveys a clear and unique way of presenting the prompt.
